Are you thinking about homeschooling? Have you been homeschooling a few years or maybe 10 years? When did you make the decision? It amazes me how our minds and hearts can change so drastically over a period of time. For many people the desire to homeschool is not even there until their child reaches middle school. For others, they might have not even had children yet. God works and changes our hearts to fit the perfect plan for our child if we seek his desires. No matter how torn you are in deciding whether or not to homeschool, remember that God is in ultimate control. Pray that he will give you the desire of His heart. He always works for the good of his children. There is no right or wrong answer that fits all families. God made our families different for many reasons. Homeschooling for one family might not work for another. One family might choose public school, another one might choose private. And yet another one might choose to supplement their child's education in the evening times. If God gives us the desire to homeschool, he will also provide a way. It may take sacrifice on our part financially. It might take patience in waiting for God to move. Just take comfort that God's timing is perfect. Do what you are capable of and called to do. Pray, and God will meet you and your child's needs.
